Due to the direct connection to the highway, the route from Basel Mulhouse Freiburg Airport to the event location, via the French A35 and the Swiss A3, is short trip with a distance of almost 21 km and an average travel time of 20-30 minutes. The only thing that could lead to delays is the increased traffic volume during rush hour – in the morning between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and in the evening between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – especially in the section around Basel.

WITH PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The public transport network in Switzerland is very well developed. Accordingly, there are numerous connections, some every 20 minutes. From the Euro Airport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg we recommend taking the bus to the «Basel SBB» train station and from there take the SBB to the «Kaiseraugst» train station.

Thanks to the direct connection to the highway, the route from Zurich Airport to the event location via the A1 and A3, with a distance of almost 80 km and an average travel time of 50 minutes, is actually easy. The only thing that lead to delays is the high volume of traffic, especially at rush hour - in the morning between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and in the evening between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - especially in the sections around Zurich and up to the exit to the A3 shortly after Baden. There are a lot of traffic jams at this time. We ask that you take this into account when planning your trip (allow approximately 60-90 minutes more time).

Zurich Airport also has its own train station, which is located directly on a main Swiss route and thus enables almost direct connections to the final destination «Kaiseraugst».
