We invite all B-Girls and B-Boys to take part in our 1vs1 Breaking Battles. There is no age limit. The qualification for the Knock-Out Battles takes place as a 60 minute Cypher Preselection on 3 floors. Our judges select the most impressive B-Girls and B-Boys. We would love to see you cyhpering and jamming and of course, there is always time for «Callouts».

You have an absolute favorite move, which you can do for hours and master perfectly?
Then we are looking for you for our «Longest Moves Competition» and with a little luck and a high repetition rate, we can help you set an official world record. Register now, train, come to «the movement arena 2024» and get started. We do the rest. We look forward to your registration. Use our online form to do this.
Axial Records
No matter whether it's backspin, headspin, 1990's, 2000, elbowspin, shoulderspin or other axial rotations, you can apply for and carry out a record attempt with us.
Multiaxial Records
This is about various forms of bellymills, windmills, munchmills, flares, halos, elbowtwist, airtwist (airflare), Arial or similar multiaxial rotations and record attempts.
Jumped Records
This is about jumping 'breaking moves' such as jackhammers, one-hand jumps, elbow jumps, backflips, back jumps or similar sequences with or without axial rotations.

Thanks to the great support and cooperation with the canton of «Basel-Landschaft» as well as the «Theater Augusta Raurica» and our event partner «Konnex», we have the opportunity to offer our participants a free stage and platform. We strive for the principle that events 'from the scene for the scene' contain no financial barriers and should be freely accessible, especially for artists.

RUNDOWN OF THE EVENT
(1) Registration
You can register online via www.and8.dance at any time until the official registration deadline on June 15, 2024 at 05.30 p.m.
(2) Check-In
On the day of the event, you come directly to the check-in, confirm your presence, take a photo and you're ready to go.
(3) Preselection
In the qualification (Cypher Preselection) you show your finesse and impress the international judges with your skills.
(4) Knock-Out
In the knockout system, you show your qualities round after round, delight both the audience and the judges and secure your place in the final.
(5) Finalrunden
In the final, despite the strong opponents, you keep your mental strength and complete your rounds with a confident performance.
(6) Interviews
After your strong performance in the final rounds, we look forward to a short interview with you and our TV team.
